Moving Permit Application (Wide Load / Heavy Equipment)

Before you begin — please read:

A Moving permit is required for any travelling equipment or device which is over 14 feet high; over 65 feet long; wider than 8 feet 6 inches; or heavier than 40 tons (80,000 lbs).
All Moving Permits shall comply with the City of Pasadena Ordinance.
In addition, the applicant shall provide the City with updated insurance information, which is subject to the City's general insurance requirements (opens in new tab).
Moving Companies with insurance already on file: allow a minimum of two (2) working days for permit issuance. City is closed every other Friday; applications received on off-Fridays will be processed the following working Monday.
All others: allow a minimum of two (2) WEEKS for permit issuance.
